A lot has happened while we've been gone from this blog (of course!). We were expecting a lot --the Knowledge Bowl, the Corn Maze, Alex's birthday, Taekwondo, and guitar and piano lessons. Some unexpected additions came along -- the flu (poor Melissa!), doctor phone calls and visits, medicine, postponed birthday plans, and home sanitizing.
Everybody's healthy now and looking forward to either tonight's rescheduled birthday bash or pumpkin carving at last. We are even kind of ready for Halloween tomorrow. Expectedly, Alex's costume is not ready but he has a plan. Melissa finished the details on her pirate costume days ago. Candy is hidden in the cabinet.
I don't have a lot of pictures, but here are a few.

A good week for both Alex and Missy.
Hope things are fine for the parents also.
