This week the kids went to camp. Alex went to Adventures in Robotics II Camp. He worked with a team to make Lego robots that competed by doing specific tasks. Missy went to Camp Invention. She learned about Vikings, made a cartoon hero and his cartoon, built machines out of recycled parts, deconstructed a computer keyboard, and had many water balloon fights. They both made some new friends. Both kids loved camp!
Alex's team came in first place in both competitions. He really liked that! This machine here is very fast going straight, uphill, and around in circles.
That's Ninja-Ball there on Missy's shoulder. He is her cartoon hero. He is very brave and strong, boasts a cute curlie-cue on the top of his head, and has mad balancing skills.
