Cartoon Character Design

This week and next Alex and Melissa are scheduled for some all-day art workshops.

Yesterday's workshop was about sketching and creating cartoon characters. Both kids have agreed to let me show you their characters, and Alex says he'll let me post his whole cartoon when it is finished.

Sacoona by Melissa. Missy ran her over to me as soon as I showed up so I could see.

Alex's nameless chibi. Alex made a different character at first, and then he made this chibi to go with him. But he liked the chibi so much he decided to make his whole cartoon about him instead.
