A friend found a stray kitten this morning and somehow talked Alex and Melissa into wanting to take him home. The cat purred as soon as I held him. I knew my resolve was fading fast, so I told the kids to go ask their dad. Kurt has been very firm about pets, and I figured he would hold fast.
The kids ran over to Kurt, put the kitten in his arms, and harangued him for 3 or 4 minutes.
This is our new cat Dusty.
The kids love him.
So far Gilbert is being good about it.
