I ordered a new-fangled, fancy reusable diaper for a baby shower gift. It arrived yesterday just as we were getting home.
"Oh, I hope that's the diaper," I said happily.
"Huh?" queried the kids.
"I ordered a diaper for Molly's baby shower tomorrow. I think that might be it, which would be great!"
"Mom," they hesitated, "you got her ONE diaper?"
Yeah, I can see how their experience with disposables would make that seem like a lame gift.
"Oh, I hope that's the diaper," I said happily.
