Melissa

You might be wondering what Melissa has been up to lo these six days. Here are some highlights....

She has started saving for a pogo stick, and this is her savings box. She almost had enough money, but some purchases (candy, I think) put her back a little. That's when she decided she needed a plan and made this box.

She re-organized her photo album. It does look much better now.

She has been inviting Gilbert to sleep with her.
(Note: Sadly, Kloo met a natural end and is no longer with us. She was a good gerbil, but we try not to mention her too much because (1) things get kind of emotional and (2) discussions of guinea pigs and bunnies inevitably follow.)
Gilbert is a sweet companion.



She picked a pepper. Her garden is still producing vegetables and she checks it regularly. The cherry tomatoes are fantastic! Here she has a rarity - an almost insect-free, fully ripe pepper.

There's always something going on around here....
