This was a big week for Missy. Last Saturday she tested at Tae Kwon Do for a regular (not junior-level) green belt. She was a little worried about her pattern because she forgot a shift technique. She asked us quite a few times if she didn't pass, but we reassured her that it looked like she had since we hadn't heard any differently. On Thursday we went to Belt Graduation. She has been looking forward to this particular belt for a long time.
On other fronts, this week was our usual nutsiness. Alex got wires and bands on his teeth, and we moved further into the world of soft diet. DI practice started up again, and they did a lot of spray painting in the garage. That was very exciting, but kind of unpleasantly air polluting. Missy was happy because Eden, a friend down the street, returned from Kansas and they could once again break out the Polly Pockets and country music. Missy also made some craft-stick dolls whose names keep changing.
And we took in a lot of American Idol all together, which is always fun.
You might notice no yard work is mentioned above. I'll let you know what I get to that. Really.
